Daniel went to Japan as an independent missionary/evangelist when he was 20. There he met his wife, Ronaele, who grew up in Japan as an MK (Missionary Kid). He was president of a construction company in Nagano, Japan and worked as a tent maker/church planter. SWBIBLE began their relationship with the Hamilton’s during the 1998 Winter Olympics held in Nagano, Japan. Southwest sent over a global outreach team to host a coffee house right in the hub of the Olympics. In 2009 they relocated to China to serve there for six years. They are now back in Japan to live and minister as self-supported missionaries. They moved to a rural area in 2020 and are meeting neighbors and looking for opportunities to build relationships and do outreach in their community. Currently, God is providing relationships as the Hamiltons learn to farm on their new property. They enjoy having David and Julie and their family also ministering in Japan, although they live quite a distance from one another.
