Marshall and Cathryn have been in the Czech Republic since 1989 and are directly sent out by SWBIBLE. Their main desire is to be a witness to the presence of God in this atheistic country and to help build up the church.

Marshall has long been involved in preparing pastors to accurately teach the Word of God through a variety of different teaching opportunities.

Marshall’s job description has included teaching seminary courses, functioning as interim pastor at their church in Celakovice, meeting to disciple the elders and traveling to teach in many places through Czech and Eastern Europe.

Cathryn is involved in a variety of ministries: being a wife and mother, helping run an evangelistic kids club, a women’s Bible study, meeting with other women in discipling and encouraging relationships, ministering on the board of a Christian school in Prague. Their family has been involved in evangelistic camps that use English as a method to share the gospel to the Czech community and discipleship camps directed toward missionary children. Teams from SWBIBLE have joined with the Browns at these camps in the past. Hannah is also teaching three art clubs on Wednesdays at our church building as well as discipling junior high girls and helping out with music. The Czech church has been thankful to have her here serving with us the past few years.

In 2013, Marshall joined the Romans Project team as International Deputy Director. He served as the International Director from 2018 until the end of 2020. Since the start of 2021, Marshall has stepped down as the International Director to focus his attention on Pastors Training Program, a ministry that follows up with pastors who have completed the RP challenge. PTP gives these African pastors an overview of the Bible story and training in how to handle God’s word from the pulpit.
